Thyroid disease is the most common endocrine disease in cats. 1

We make early diagnosis and monitoring easier than ever.

Feline hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland) is now the most common endocrinopathy seen in cats. Veterinarians worry many dogs and cats are not diagnosed or are identified too late to avoid permanent organ damage. Pets undergoing thyroid treatment often lack adequate monitoring tests, leading to poor thyroid medication regulation and premature death or complications.

We want to change that by offering more affordable, convenient testing and monitoring.

Same veterinarian-trusted lab tests.

Our Thyroid Disease Tracker test panels are carefully designed by our team of veterinarians and experts to detect disease as early as possible and to precisely track your cat’s thyroid function during treatment.

For cats being treated for hyperthyroidism, our Feline Thyroid Treatment Tracker includes:

    • Total T4 (total thyroxine hormone) - the most common thyroid function test
    • Free T4
    • Total T3 (total triiodothyronine) - another common thyroid function test

To diagnose cats with hyperthyroidism or for monitoring complex cases, our Feline Thyroid Diagnostic Tracker includes:

    • Total T4 (total thyroxine hormone) - the most common thyroid function test
    • Free T4
    • Total T3 (total triiodothyronine) - another common thyroid function test
    • TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone or thyrotropin) - pituitary hormone that stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine and triiodothyronine

Health information is health power.

This was Max's second time having Affordable Pet Labs. He is an elderly cat who hates the car and the vet, so this is way less stressful for him to have the labs done at home. He is a tough stick too, since he is a 21 year old cat. They had to poke a couple times, but that can be totally normal in older animals and all the while they were comforting him. I will use them again for sure!
